Derrick A. Davidson Obituary,  Death – Cleves, Ohio – The Cleves community is mourning the loss of a beloved young man, Derrick A. “D-Rock” Davidson, who passed away on October 18, 2023, at the age of 20. Derrick was the cherished son of Angela and Gary Wyatt, as well as Jessica Dickerson and the late Derrick Davidson. He was a loving brother to Dillonn Davidson, Drake Davidson, Corey Wyatt (Emily), and Alexis Wyatt (Cooper). He was also the dear grandson of Dale Spraker and the late Diana Smith.

In addition to his immediate family, Derrick leaves behind numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and a wide circle of friends. D-Rock, as he was affectionately known, was a 2021 graduate of Taylor High School. During his time there, he made a significant impact both in academics and extracurricular activities. He was an accomplished athlete, participating in wrestling, football, and volleyball.

D-Rock’s athletic prowess was evident as he achieved the title of homecoming king, a testament to his popularity and the high regard in which he was held by his peers. Notably, he was crowned the sectional wrestling champion during his senior year, showcasing his dedication and talent in the sport. The community will have an opportunity to pay their respects during the visitation on Monday, October 23, from 5 PM to 9 PM at the Dennis George Funeral Home, located at 44 S. Miami Ave., Cleves, OH 45002.

The funeral service to celebrate Derrick’s life will be held on Tuesday, October 24, at 10:30 AM, also at the Dennis George Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorial donations be made to support them during this difficult time. Contributions can be sent to the funeral home, c/o the family.
